Facebook Confirms It May Follow Instagram S Lead And Start Hiding Like Counts

Back in July, Instagram expanded its testing of hiding like counts to a total of seven countries. Now, Facebook has confirmed that it may start testing the same on its platform. The change could come to News Feed posts and show users a few mutual friends who have like a Facebook post without a total like count. Reported by TechCrunch, a prototype of the upcoming test was discovered by Jane Manchun Wong in the Android app and Facebook confirmed that removing like counts was being considered for testing....

What would happen if you took the default image for every Mac wallpaper from Cheetah to Catalina, and combined them into a single image? The above, is what… I’m a Brit, so not prone to using a word beloved of many Americans, but I think this may be officially awesome. iOS theme developer Jenny Vanille chose Xmas day to tweet her work, so not many noticed it, but TNW spotted it today....

Every New Mutant In Deadpool 2

Deadpool 2 will be positively packed with new mutants, doing its part to continue expanding the X-Men universe. Since the first X-Men debuted, Fox has made a habit of enlarging its ensembles with each film. So far, only Logan has kept things relatively low-key in this department, but even that movie still managed to introduce several new characters. The first Deadpool, despite being a standalone, brought over Colossus from the main franchise and introduced Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Angel Dust, and Ajax....

Exclusive Music Tom Holkenborg Interview Terminator Dark Fate

Back in 1991, James Cameron concluded his original vision for The Terminator with T2: Judgment Day, which is widely celebrated as one of the greatest action movies of all time. Of course, Hollywood isn’t one to allow a creator’s vision to prevent them from churning out more sequels, and so 2003, 2009, and 2015 brought further sequels, which generally suffered from the law of diminishing returns. However, Terminator: Dark Fate looks to reverse that trend, and with original creator James Cameron back in the producer’s chair, as well as the return of Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor, hopes are high that the Dark Fate will fulfill its destiny as the true successor to the greatness of the original two films....

Evad3Rs Dev Team Teases Super Bowl Sunday Jailbreak For Ios 6 1

In keeping with the tradition of “Sunday is Funday,” MuscleNerd, front-man for the new Evad3rs jailbreak development team, confirmed on Twitter today that iOS 6.1 has been jailbroken, and he teased that the untethered jailbreak will release on Super Bowl Sunday. The “untethered” status means you can safely reboot your device without having to worry about losing your jailbreak or any of the built-in features, as opposed to a “tethered” jailbreak that requires you to plug your device into a computer and re-run the jailbreaking app anytime you reboot it....

Epic Iphone 7 Cinematic 4K Camera Test Video

One of the bigger features with the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus is definitely the improved optics and camera quality, but exactly what does this boil down to for video enthusiasts? There’s no doubt that the iPhone 7 takes some amazing photography, but its video capabilities are far superior in my opinion. Don’t believe me? With 4K video recording, optical and digital image stabilization, and an f1.8 aperture, these new iPhones are pretty incredible…...

Escape Plan 2 Clip Stallone Bautista Get In A Bar Fight

A new clip from Escape Plan 2: Hades shows Sylvester Stallone and Dave Bautista getting into a messy gunfight. The original Escape Plan was sold on the long-awaited team-up between former action rivals Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger. The story featured Stallone’s security expert being dumped inside an “inescapable” prison and teaming up with Arnie’s wise convict to find a way out. While the movie was only a modest hit in North America, it did strong business overseas, leading to a sequel being greenlit in 2016....

European Iphone Subsidies May End Over Integrated Sim Technology

We recently reported that Apple was exploring integrated, pre-installed SIM cards for future devices. This integrated SIM-card system would allow customers to purchase an iPhone and choose any carrier they like from a special menu on that device, completely ditching the carriers from the usual ways of setting up your phone’s service. Today, the Financial Times is reporting that some of Europe’s leading iPhone carriers are furious about Apple’s exploration into this technology and are ready to terminate their carrier subsidy deals....

Every Tim Burton Movie Gets An Honest Trailer Ahead Of Dumbo

“Every Tim Burton Movie” gets the Honest Trailers treatment, in honor of the director’s live-action Dumbo remake hitting theaters this week. In the 40 or so years since his days as an artist/animator at Disney in the early 1980s, Burton has gone on to become a filmmaker with a very distinct visual style and set of interests. Be it Beetlejuice, Batman, Edward Scissorhands, Big Fish, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, or Big Eyes, one pretty much always knows when they’re watching a Burton film… for better or worse (more on that later)....

Eternity The Last Unicorn Review What S Norse Bad

When Eternity: The Last Unicorn isn’t putting players to sleep with its bland design, it’s driving them up the wall thanks to annoying technical hiccups. Making a game is hard, and Eternity: The Last Unicorn stands a stark reminder of that fact. Simply put, Void Studios’ Norse-inspired game is a broken mess of an experience. When its bland design and combat isn’t putting players to sleep, a myriad of bugs will have them bouncing off for a more stable experience....

Europe To Have One Charger For All Mobile Phones Global Standard Next

The picture from above shows my personal “riches” that I’m about to recycle this weekend. For the last 5 years, it seems that I have managed to “collect” around 8 different chargers. And I’m sure that the average person has had at least 3 chargers since mobile phones have appeared. But this could change starting with 2017, as the European Union has voted in favor of a draft legislation which lists among the “essential requirements” of electrical devices approved by the EU a compatibility with “universal” chargers....
