Rising horror actor/writer/producer Chad Ridgely appears in Quentin Tarantino’s highly-anticipated mystery crime film, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Screen Rant can exclusively confirm.

Currently shooting on location in Los Angeles, Ridgely joins an all-star cast including Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Dakota Fanning, Kurt Russell, Lena Dunham, and Al Pacino among others.

The film centers around a faded TV actor and his stunt double, who embark on an odyssey to make a name for themselves in the film industry during the Helter Skelter reign of terror in 1969 Los Angeles. Ridgely enters into the storyline as a ‘Police Officer’ but further details are being kept under wraps.

The project is described as “humorous, serious, spooky; it’s playful,” by longtime Tarantino collaborator, Oscar-winning cinematographer Robert Richardson.

Ridgely is best known by adoring horror fans for writing, starring and producing the stand-out comedy horror films, Massacre on Aisle 12 and 6:66 PM. Both films were created under his Full Auto Films banner and had Ridgely teaming up with fellow actor/producer Jim Klock (Green Book, Scream Queens). The duo collaborated once again on-screen, starring in the recently wrapped suspense-thriller feature film Red Letters, set for a March 2019 release. Ridgely is also currently in production on his docu-comedy Hollywood Comedian, which explores the gritty underbelly of the stand-up comedy scene in Los Angeles.

A former police officer and celebrity bodyguard, Ridgely first gained attention in the comedy arena creating and starring in the FOX produced sketch-comedy show The Chad Ridgely Show. He went on to garner millions of views and fans creating digital comedy content, including Healthy Tips and Gay or Not Gay Game Show. Ridgely has appeared in numerous film and television projects, including Ice: The Movie, Murder Eleven and Indican Pictures animated feature The Trouble with Terkel.

Chad Ridgely is repped by Esprit Talent (Los Angeles) and L.T.A. (New Orleans).
